This monument honors military personnel who served in the Korean War. Dedicated in 1991, this monument was designed by Mac Adams and is one of the first Korean War memorials established in the USA. The memorial features a shape of a Korean War soldier cut out of the center, and is also known as “The Universal Soldier.” This void presents the theme of absence and loss, and symbolizes death.
