Canada War Memorial
Canada’s National War Memorial is located near the Canada Parliament Building in Ottawa, Ontario. The memorial is dedicated to the Canadian veterans who served during the Korean War, World War I and World War II. At the base of the tower, there is an Unknown Soldier’s Tomb. Symbolically, two allegories of peace and freedom stand at the crest of the arch, under which the sculpted images of 22 Canadian servicemen from all branches of the forces engaged in battle move towards the call of duty.
